TERMS OF SERVICE

The boring stuff I know, but please be sure to read all of the information here before requesting a commission. If you have any further questions be sure to check out my F.A.Q in case it's already been answered or feel free to contact me.

By commissioning and purchasing work from me it will be assumed you have read and agreed to the following terms.

General

I have the right to refuse any commission I feel uncomfortable taking on, be it the subject of the image or if I feel like I am not skilled enough to draw what is wanted.
Please refer to my Do and Don't found on the commission page, F.A.Q's and down below.
I retain all the rights to my work which includes (But not limited to) the right to use in portfolios and galleries and other self-promotion means. If for some reason you are unhappy about this please be sure to mention this to me before completion of your commission.
For characters and OC's you will need to have a clear reference/image of your character.
I can work from a description reference, more info can be found in my F.A.Q page.
If you have a deadline need for your commission please mention this at the start so I can let you know if I'm able to complete it within the time frame. Depending on my queue at the time and when the deadline is there may be a rush fee. If you inform me of a deadline after the payment has been made I can not guarantee completion of your piece in time. This means it could end in refusal of the commission altogether resulting in full or partial refund.
Turn around time varies between commission depending on size, character complexity and details. For a safe estimate it can be between 1 week - 1 month.
While I do take commissions seriously they are still a side job to my full time work. Bearing this in mind there can be delays and unexpected interruptions. If any of these occur I will do my best to keep you updated and informed of further progress.

Payment

Payment is to be made via PayPal Invoices only so please have a paypal address ready.
I will require at least 50% of the payment to begin the sketching process, then I will require 100% of the payment to be made before completing the commission.
Prices and payment will be made in GBP, if you use another currency please use a currency converter to work out your price. These can be found via a google search.
If you need a payment plan please let me know to begin with and we can work out the details to suit your needs.
I do leave tipping available on my invoices, please don't feel you have to give anything or that I am asking for anything. I have just had it in the past that people have wanted to give a tip and I find this way just keeps things easier.

The Process

Please check to see if my commissions are open before sending me a message. This will be visible on the home page of this website and most of my social pages.
If my commissions are open then feel free to go ahead and shoot me a DM. This can be on any of my social pages or any other method seen under my contact page. From here we will discuss what you have in mind, the characters you'd like to use and any other main important details. The more details you can give the closer I can give you what you're looking for! Alternatively I am more than okay to take on any artistic freedom should you not be sure what you want.
I will then give you a quote and you can decide whether to go ahead.
Should you choose to go ahead I will send you an invoice via PayPal and once payment(s) have been made I will begin on your piece.
Normally I send a progress shot between each stage; sketch, lineart/flat colour and shading. More progress shots will be shared for more detailed pieces such as those including backgrounds.
You are more than welcome to request a work in progress at anytime you wish.
Revisions and any changes can be done anytime during the sketch phase, however once the sketch has been approved I will only make minor changes from then on. Once lineart and colour has been completed I will only make small detail changes, such as character details I may have missed or if a previously agreed upon detail has been left out. If you need any changes made after the commission is completed there will be an added fee.
Once the commission is completed I will send you the full resolution file.

Terms of Use

You are permitted to use your piece in any personal means including posting on other sites, using as profile pictures and wallpapers etc. as long as proper credit is given. I have also had previous clients get their pieces printed on a tshirt or a hoodie to wear at cons! If you do this I would love to see!
You are not permitted to use your piece in any commercial use or any mass production unless otherwise previously agreed upon.
You are not permitted to claim the artwork as your own work.

Refunds

A full refund can be given if the sketch hasn't yet been approved. However the further through a commission I am the less of a refund you will receive as I can only refund the work that has not been done. An example of this could be:
Before sketch ........ 100% refund
After sketch ........... 75% refund
After lineart ............ 50% refund
After flat colour ... 25% refund
After shading ......... No refund
If something comes up and I am no longer able to complete your commission then I will contact you and a full refund will be provided.

Backgrounds
Light gore/candy gore
Multiple characters

Won't Draw

NSFW; this includes but not limited to nudity, fetishes or anything of a sexual nature.
Anything homophobic, racist or of any hateful nature.
Mecha
Anything that means replicating another artist's art and/or their style

If there is something you are unsure of then feel free to ask! I am always up for trying new things and giving things a try. Saying that please bear in mind I am more experienced with some subjects more than others.
